	The unit is completely portable. The SIAscanner is about the size of a small travel hairdryer and is connected to a laptop where the images can be instantantly viewed. Each scan produces 5 different images of the lesion to help the clinician diagnose key characteristics of melanoma. An example of images from a melanoma on the left show colour view, bloodview, total melanin, dermal melanin and collagen.
	Full mole mapping and tracking abilitties are essential with any system and Dermetrics not only supports this requirement,non contact SIAscanscan also automatically scan larger areas to help identify suspicious lesions that needa contact SIAscan.
	Dermetrics is a software platform that is being constantly developed and new software is will be available shortly for psoriasis, eczema monitoring and BCC diagnosis.
