The CritiCool™ control unit is a microprocessor-controlled temperature management unit. Using feedback from the patient’s core and skin temperature sensors, the proprietary control algorithm responds by modifying water temperature such that patient target temperature will be achieved precisely. This achieves management of patient body temperature in a non-invasive, effective and precise manner. Criticool™ new touch screen is now available in New Zealand and is supplied by Belmont Medical Technologies.

CritiCool® MINI

TARGETED TEMPERATURE MANAGEMENT 

Building on the success of CritiCool®, CritiCool MINI offers a compact and portable design. CritiCool MINI  functions as a thermal regulating system, precisely  measuring the patient’s core temperature every  66 milliseconds and adjusting settings accordingly.  

As with the original CritiCool control unit, the CritiCool MINI control unit is used with the flexible, single-patient CureWrap™
